Balance and ambition

What is balance and ambition?

These two concepts, balance and ambition, are closely related to each other. Ambition – a strong desire to do or achieve something. Balance is what keeps us on the right path between our ambitions and goals and the real situation we are in. Without balance, too much ambition could be detrimental to our mental and physical condition.

What your ambition in life is? It’s not the simplest of questions, but discovering what that is can change your world! It’s fine to have absolutely no idea and it’s fine to know exactly what your life’s purpose is!

‘Succes comes in a lot of ways, but it doesn’t come with money and it doesn’t come with fame. It comes from having a meaning in your life, doing what you love and being passionate about what you do. That’s having a life of success. When you have the ability to do what you love, love what you do and have the ability to impact people. That’s having a life of meaning is.” T.T

When you’re trying to discover your ambition in life, sometimes you need to take a step back, daydream and brainstorm! You need motivation and determination.

Think about what you value most and what you absolutely LOVE to do!

Positive people and friends

Surround yourself with people who care about you, not just those who say what you love to hear, but those who show you respect, honesty and support.

If you have at least one person genuinely supporting you, you’re blessed.

Some people in your life will not be happy about your happiness or success because they feel threatened or jealous of it.

Pay attention to how people react to your success and surround yourself with people who are truly happy for you and what you’re creating in your life.

Finding this kind of people changed everything. When you surround yourself with ambitious people, you may feel more inspired to be motivated.

Get to know what habits and thought processes help them be so ambitious. Seek support through networking or by finding a mentor. When choosing a mentor, find someone who is where you want to be. They can help you start working toward this place.

Positive people make the good times better and hard times easier.

Make time for your goals

Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don’t recognize them.” Ann L.

Instead of thinking “I’ll do it later,” find a time to get started on your goals. When planning your goals, figure out when you’re going to make time for them. The distance between dreams and reality is called action. Don’t wait. You have to start to be great.

Work on positive thinking

Finding ways to shift to a positive mindset can help you stay focused on your inner drive. Using positive self-affirmations is a great way to boost your mood and confidence. Here are a few you can use:

  • My growth is a continuous process.
  • Doing my best.
  • Proud of myself.
  • I am talented and intelligent.
  • I am proud of myself.
  • Unaffected by the judgment of others.
  • I am becoming the best version of myself.

Do not be scared to take risks

One of the things to do so as to become more ambitious is to take risks. You have to be comfortable in risk. To become more ambitious in life, you need to give yourself the opportunity to explore and experiment with many options at a time. You could have a big opportunity waiting for you right around the corner if you simply try out for it.

Many times they’re talking about risk as a bad thing. The most dangerous thing is not taking a risk.” Michael D.

You will never reach your true potential living life in comfort and routine. When it comes to your dreams, every risk is worth it.

When it feels scary to jump, that’s exactly WHEN you jump. Otherwise, you end up staying in the same place your whole life.

Don’t give up but do take a break

The key to success is to be persistent in the long run. However, you also need to make sure you’re refuelling along the way so that you don’t burn out. Think of it as a marathon, not a sprint. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is take a break. Instead, of pushing through, pull back and get some perspective. Do a quick reset. It’s almost always worth doing and will save time you would have spent banging your head against the problem.

Some days you may feel like quitting, and it’s ok to take a break when you are frustrated. Don’t push the river upstream when it isn’t working. And, just because you’re having a hard time doesn’t mean you should stop rowing altogether. It’s okay to take a break.

Being happy is the first step to anything that we want to do successfully.  Check some tips about motivation HERE.

Respect the Process.

Success is a process, not a destination.

Results happen over time, not overnight – work hard, stay consistent and be patient. Your progress won’t always look graceful but it’s still progress.

There will always be another obstacle and another hill, so try to enjoy the process as it happens. The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.

Negativity is your enemy. It only holds you back; it only keeps you from seeing the positivity and the prospects on the horizon. Negativity casts a big, dark cloud on your ambitious goals. Expel it. Don’t tear yourself or your work apart. Be positive and trust the timing of everything. Just because it’s not happening right now doesn’t mean it never will. Stay patient and remember how far you’ve come.

Don’t compare yourself to others. Work on yourself and your goals and what you want to accomplish, and keep that end in sight. Life is like riding a bicycle To keep your balance and ambition, you must keep moving.

Hustle! Have the courage to go out there and work it out until you find the opportunities you want in life.
